Welcome to Park House Nursery

Park House Nursery is a private nursery set in peaceful and pleasant rural setting. The nursery opened in January 1995, being the first private day nursery in Ponteland.

We are open all year round each week day from 7:45am to 6:00pm, closing only between Christmas and New Year. It is purpose built and designed specifically to make children feel comfortable and safe, boasting a large grassed area for the pre-school children and a new grassed play area aimed mainly for the toddlers and babies. Also with a new classroom for 3-4 year olds.

Please remember that all three to four year olds are entitled to 15 hours of free nursery education for 38 weeks of the year under the governments early learning scheme. Park House Nursery was a wonderful, caring environment for my daughter to learn to play and grow. The dedicated staff encouraged my daughter to be independent and confident through a warm teaching environment – the teaching and learning were both a high quality.
